Food Giveaway & Vegan Potluck
Everyone is welcome to our free weekly servings!
WHERE: Buckman Elementary School outdoor playground
WHEN: every Wednesday + Saturday from 4:30-6:30ish pm, rain or shine
WHAT: Free produce, tofu, bread and more, plus a vegan potluck. Masks are optional. Most areas have wheelchair access.
HOW: Meet at the lower playground area near the big grass field on SE Stark & 18th. If raining we sometimes meet at the covered upper court (entrance on 16th). All you need to do is show up and wait in line. No paperwork or questions asked. Kids and leashed dogs welcome! Please keep dogs away from food.
We request those who partake to bring their own reusable container and utensils. It’s best to bring a container with a secure lid as we often serve soup or something so you can take cooked food home with you.
Also, it's recommended to bring a bag for produce, bread, etc. Feel free to bring a dish you made to our potluck as long as it's vegan! Be sure to be prepared to share allergen info and ingredients. Please do not drop items off and leave without arranging proper removal at the end of the serving. Leave no trace!

Free Food Dropoffs
Tuesdays around 12:00 pm: donated produce by Organics to You dropped on our produce shelf, located on the curb in front of 1616 SE 32nd Place, Portland, OR.
Fridays around 11:00 am: produce and other foods donated by New Seasons Sevens Corners dropped at the neighborhood free fridge on 4115 SE 29th Ave (at Gladstone), Portland, OR.
These are open 24/7 for anyone to access. Arrive early for best selection. First come, first serve. Please take only what you need – do not hoard items or take entire boxes.
We source food from retailers who donate to us whatever they can't sell. Food is picked up with bikes and trailers. Contact us if you'd want to be involved in the bike pickups.
Feel free to donate produce you grow yourself and any extra vegan food you might have (as long as it has a reasonable expiration date).
